Recently a friend gave me this: The Serenity Prayer. Most people know the first verse, but there are a couple more to it, and this is in fact where the meat of it lies. Enjoy!
The Serenity Prayer

God, grant me the serenity to
accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can
And the wisdom to know the difference
Living one day at a time
Enjoying one moment at a time
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace
Taking this sinful world as it is and not as I would have it
Trusting that You will make all things right as I surrender to Your will
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
And supremely happy with You in the next
